Come on “Tour Barbados ”
Why Barbados ?
Barbados is an excellent place to come on “ Rugby tour” as it is a perfect blend of some competitive rugby and some serious partying! We can host teams at Senior, Youth levels and Over 35’s Veterans Level.
There are three rugby clubs on the island, Scorpions RFC, Renegades RFC and the Barbados Defence Force (Army).

Summer Training
Mostly rugby matches are played at the picturesque Garrison Savannah, which is also the home of Barbados horse racing. At our clubhouse you can drink copious amounts of Banks Beer or Cockspur Rum after the match and bore everyone by talking them through your 60 metre try or your rugby stories or just have a good ‘ole rugby sing song!

The annual "Virgin Atlantic Bird Man" competition.
All senior teams, Veterans teams and junior teams are welcome here in Barbados . Yes, the standards are sometimes different but we rarely have any total mis-matches and usually end up surprising some of our visitors.

Things you need to know:
It is English speaking (Useful when staggering out from the clubhouse and asking for directions to your hotel). It is financially, socially and politically stable with a low crime rate.
There are dozens of white sandy beaches complimented by the glistening Caribbean Sea . There are all the easy water sports such as snorkeling, windsurfing, kayaking, banana boat rides and for the more adventure seeking (or drunk!) rugby tourist surfing, parasailing and water-skiing.
The island also boasts a number of 18 hole championship golf courses for those days relaxing before a game of rugby. Please see the link to “Premier Attractions” for more details.

The nightlife in Barbados is exciting with a large number of bars and restaurants, including five nightclubs! When you have left the beach the nightlife springs into life with the island’s exciting musical rhythms. You can catch an early evening colourful dinner show or grab a bite at one of the indoor sports bars? Please see the link to “Premier Attractions” and “The Lucky Horse” for more details.

If it’s late night action you want, you have a choice of a number of venues that offer specials on certain nights of the week often including local bands where you can dance your way into the wee hours to the exotic Caribbean rhythms. Most nightclubs have “drinks free” nights whereby you pay approx. US$20 (12 quid) entrance and once you’re in all drinks are free. The Barbados nightlife has a good mixture of tourists and Bajans. Closing times vary but most nightclubs stay open until 4.00am , although there are no licensing hours.
There are also a number of day activities and excursions, including a must for every touring rugby team, the Jolly Roger! Please see the link to “Premier Attractions” for more details.
