The top of the table clash between the Renegades and Brigands was switched to the Garrison as the Holders Hill pitch was not ready. The game was a nailbiting affair with the Renegades dominating the first half and the Brigands showing superior fitness, outpacing and out scoring the Renegades in the second half.

The second half started as the sun was setting and this seemed to bring the Brigands to life as J. Goddard put immediate pressure on the catcher of the kick off forcing the Renegades to mishandle. J.
