| The Rugby World Cup 2007 Caribbean qualifying tournament, which saw three rounds of matches in six days, had significant repercussions on the IRB World Rankings. Barbados, who won the tournament with victories over Guyana, St Lucia and Trinidad & Tobago, jumped a massive 15 places to 65th. They began the tournament 29 places below Trinidad & Tobago, but finished it just five adrift. Guyana, who defeated Trinidad & Tobago and St Lucia, move up six places from 77th to 71st. St Lucia drop 16 places from 69th to 85th. |
